noShampoo True

I’m happy to say I’m completely shampoo free and everything is fine. My previous attempts at home-made shampoo were a quasi-failure, their only success that I realized it was either shampoo or noShampoo. To help me in my quest, I cut my hair pretty short and then just let things go. The end result is that I haven’t used shampoo for at least two and half months and everything is fine. I notice that my hair has it’s own natural cycle of getting greasy and then being fine, which is strange, but ok.

I will see how it goes for a year and take it from there.

  1. I haven’t used shampoo for about 5 months now and it has worked out awesome. I used to have stiff and stripped hair now I have better hair than the women in the offices I work at LOL. Only thing I have done extra is when it seems to get too oily I will take an egg yolk, about 3 tablespoons of olive oil and about 3 table spoons of honey mix it up, add about a quarter cup of water, mix more, and put it on my hair. I put a shopping bag on it for about an hour and then take it out with baking soda and apple cider vinegar. Like a reset button to awesome for about a week or two. No egg smell either, but I read you had a different experience? Maybe this mix will work better for you, anyway it’s cheap enough to try 🙂
